I am currently employed as a web co-ordinator and graphic designer for Arrow Electronics (one of the world’s largest distributors of electronic components).
My current role includes:
• Managing 3 external websites for the Northern Europe region plus 8 supplier microsites and 7 internal microsites. This entails:
o Regular maintenance on 3 external sites
o Creating HTML pages for seminars and events; including registration pages and HTML emails
o Web graphics and design of monthly banners
o Redesign of all microsites and effect monthly microsite updates
o Creation and mailing of Digital Newsletter (mailed to over 6,500 customers)
o Interactive linecard
o Create yearly sign up programme for suppliers
o Updating supplier list
o Managing Web Trends
• In house design including:
o Design and production of Arrow Advantage catalogue (mailed to over 6,500 customers on a yearly basis)
o Designing Arrow Innovation hardcopy (quarterly supplier magazine; mailed to over 11,000 customers)
o Designing magazine adverts
o Design and production of direct mails and corporate brochures
o Design Arrow 2009 calendar (mailed to over 10,000 customers)
o Design Christmas Card (sent to over 10,000 customers)
o Design Internal Newsletter
