I have been in the IT industry since I was old enough to use a keyboard. Having come from a family background of computing, I picked up skills from a very young age. I have a wide range of practical computing skills, from the design and maintenance of websites, down to the low tech installation and troubleshooting of hardware problems. I have also served in Afghanistan, providing me with a rare perspective on problem solving, mediation and negotiation which can be very useful in dealing with clients.
- My wide range of computing experience allows me to deal with common computer issues at the roots, without needed assistance from other departments, and to incorporate the bigger IT picture into my projects more fluidly.

- My subject matter expertise allows me to pass on the knowledge to my colleagues, so they too may be able to improve as well. I also have the knowledge that there is always room to learn more, and I enjoy learning from others as much as I enjoy teaching.

- I am a social yet focused, employee with what has been described as \"infectious enthusiasm\" for the task at had. This means that I am able to help keep the workforce motivated and interested in the tasks at hand, without myself becoming distracted. This can make the jobs go faster, without having to provide financial incentives

- Having served a tour in Afghanistan, I also bring a lot of talents that help strengthen my skills beyond the normal. My teamwork, resource management, discipline and general communication skills have all been enhanced by the experience.
