I have been working as a professional writer, proofreader, and editor for over ten years - this IS my day job. Writing full time means that I am highly motivated and I always adhere to, if not exceed, deadlines.

My first novel has recently been accepted for publication and I have also ghostwritten a novel.

My writing experience is wide and varied and I have written numerous articles for print magazines, newspapers and on the web; edited two newsletters; written and ghost written books and edited and proofed books and articles. I have had eight books published under my own name and have ghostwritten other titles. I have also written a number of ebooks on a wide variety of subjects. I have written numerous reports based on only a title and brief description. This has included writing reports for a government department, small and large businesses and for websites.

I am a speedy and adept researcher and have a broad knowledge of history. I have access to a major library if Internet research is insufficient or unsuitable.

I provide regular updates of progress and would anticipate sending through each report once the first draft is complete for comment - and revision if necessary. In addition, I provide an update of progress at the end of each week as standard.

I can adapt my tone of writing to suit your purposes, for example, providing the reports written in a conversational direct tone, or in more academic language depending on your audience. I have also written for a young audience and have had columns in magazines aimed at a 13-15 year old readership.

I have experience of editing a wide range of material ranging from simple web articles to academic papers and complete books. Most recently, I have edited a crime novel and a lengthy spiritual guide. This summer I have also been editing reports for a government department to make them an easier read for a general audience.

I have an excellent command of English grammar, spelling, and punctuation and can additionally edit content for accuracy, style, clarity, and flow. I can supply both a Word tracked version as well as a clean version of your document so that you can approve any edits made, as well as easily read the effects of those edits. At all times, I ensure that the originator's voice is kept in the text. I have substantial experience in editing copy to make it more conversational in tone and in editing work written by those who don't have English as their primary language.

I have written hundreds of articles on paranormal subjects, books on ghosts and ghosthunting, runes, tarot and I- Ching. I am a qualified astrologer and have written astrology books as well as lecturing and teaching on the subject. I have also written extensively on occult history.

I have a BA in Journalism and a Masters degree in Cultural Astronomy and Astrology.
