About Me
Expertise includes: Sales & Marketing strategies and implementation. This includes social media and digital strategies, introduction of loyalty schemes; formulating sales and marketing plans and then implementing these. This includes everything from developing a target customer base and then targeting these through a mix of cold call sales, warm introductions and full marketing campaigns both via social media, online and offline marketing tactics and then pitching, managing and increasing sales from accounts.
All sales and marketing campaigns have one goal, to drive sales.
I've successfully launched businesses, and turned them around, winning various awards including the best sales team of the year award, given by the Chartered Institute of Marketing and beating IBM, Yellow Pages and British Gas's sales and marketing teams.
I've moved 2 businesses to becoming the best performing in their categories, and won multi-million pound contracts through pitches, tendering and presentations to clients.
Also experienced with event organisation; competitor analysis and pricing.
The last business I transformed was the Marriott County Hall where I repositioned the hotel in the market and moved this from the worst performing Marriott in the UKIMEA to be the best performing Marriott (£12m turnover to £20m turnover in 3 yrs ending Dec 09).
