I have been a freelance writer on a full-time basis for four years. During this time I have been a regular contributor to the Shoot Monthly magazine and written a number of fiction and non-fiction football books for Shoot, Parragon Publishing and Pedigree Publishing.

I was the writer of the 2008 Shoot Annual, as well as a series of other football themed titles. The books I\'ve written for Parragon are part of the FA\'s Official England series. I wrote 10 books in total, including four children\'s fiction stories. For a full bibliography see Examples of Work.

My skills include interviewing, writing features, match reports, press releases, proof-reading, sub-editing and picture and statistical research. I have also written sports articles for local newspapers and magazines, such as the Bournemouth Daily Echo, the Leicester Mercury and for Soar Magazine.

I regularly submit an online blog on the Shoot Magazine website and continue to write football themed titles and books on other topics, including the 2010 Indiana Jones Annual and WWE Wrestling titles.

I was previously employed as a Press Officer in the Newsteam at Leicestershire Police for a period of 18 months and now work as Communications Executive for Soar Media where my role includes writing articles, press releases, copywriting, editing, sub-editing, picture research and co-ordinating media opportunities.
