About Me
I am an experienced translator, proofreader, researcher and writer. My translation work comprises the following language pairs: Spanish-English and French-English. I principally work in academic translation, research and writing although I also proofread and translate in areas such as business, public sector, tourism, diverse web content and journalism.
Additionally I am experienced in writing and translating grant applications.
I am also experienced in researching and translating quantitative analyses using SPSS, Minitab and Excel for academic clients (undergraduate and postgraduate), qualitative analyses including questionnaire data and in-depth interview techniques (variety of models) as well as research projects for private clients and NGO´s.
I have also developed training programmes in Spanish based on UK models and programmes which I have implemented from design to translation and execution.
I am based in Spain and am happy to work remotely although, in certain circumstances, I may be able to make short visits to the UK.
I have worked in marketing, advertising and NGOs as a project coordinator and trainer. I continue to work in this latter field as well as writing and translating, although I am looking to increase my income via freelancing opportunities, due to family commitments.
