About Me
I'm a freelance writer and editor. I write good clear copy, both web and hard, which has sold everything from books to car hire to holidays. I edit copy, either briefly or in depth: I can offer a simple checking service or deep editing up to and including rewriting. I write magazine articles, books and can do short creative pieces. I also do marketing and PR.

Work Experience
I spent two years writing monthly sales and marketing kits for a stable of independent publishers. I have two books to my name - you can find them on Amazon if you search for "Darwin's Nuts" or "Jim's Very Large Handbook of Rock n Roll". I also did the first edit of Ben Crystal's "Shakespeare on Toast" (you can find that on Amazon too).
I've written copy for publishers, holiday parks, car hire websites and yacht builders. I have had articles published on Charles Darwin and barefoot running. I've edited sales catalogues, marketing material, book manuscripts, short stories and dissertations.
