About Me
I achieved my payroll and bookkeeping qualifications in 1999, and have been running a successful bookkeeping agency since that time.
I have a great deal of experience in all aspects of bookkeeping and have worked with a variety of clients from sole traders with minimal transactions up to medium sized manufacturing companies requiring 2-3 days input per week.
VAT return experience ranges from one off VAT claims for house builders, to regular returns for a variety of businesses, using different schemes (retail, flat rate, cash accounting etc).
I regularly meet clients who for one reason or another have got behind in their obligations with either VAT or tax returns, or occassionally PAYE, and enjoy working with them, and liasing with the Inland Revenue, to collate the necessary paperwork to bring them up to date.
I am registered with the Inland Revenue as a tax agent, and as such complete a variety of tax returns each year. Clients I have worked with range from people with rental income, employees who need to claim expenses, sole traders, partnerships, and individual partner returns.
Payroll services cover any business from 1 directors payslip per month, up to many staff requiring weekly payments. All payroll services are computerised, as are the year end returns to ensure an accurate and prompt service.
I have been involved in cashflow forecasting, budgeting, cost cutting and analysis with some clients and believe that I have useful and relevent skills in these areas.

Work Experience
I have owned, managed and run my bookkeeping agency since 1999. During this time I have also been closely involved in the management and day to day running of several other businesses such a care agency, a retail outlet, and a general insurance brokers.
