Technical writing: Produce user guides, procedure manuals, training guides and help text for software applications. Generally work for small to medium sized IT companies and so am often involved in niche products. Undertake full project from investigation through to production of approved documentation.
Magazine writing: Commissioned articles, usually on business topics: company profiles, descriptions of specific projects, etc. Fully researched from websites, supplied information and with telephone or face-to-face interviews where required. All produced in accordance with article outline and to publication deadline and target number of words.

Areas covered: Generally North of England to North Midlands but could be anywhere, especially if remote working.
