About Me
Writing is a powerful medium and I pride myself on my ability to tailor work specifically to the audience. I do not believe that \"one size fits all\".
I have 20 years\' experience as a writer, 15 of which were on a busy, daily regional paper. I moved from newsdesk to features, adapting my skills contiunously. As well as page designing, subbing, proofreading, I commissioned articles and wrote on a myriad subjects: from 50 word captions to 1,500 word features.
Those skills have stood me in good stead for my freelancing career.

Jayne has worked with me to copy edit a variety of reference and children’s books, covering a wide range of issues including schools travel and climate change. It was a pleasure to work with her and she brought expert knowledge, communication and creative skills to the process. I enjoyed working with Jayne, and will be doing so again very soon. She is highly recommend.
