Outline of Key Responsibilities
• Manage financial budgets and projections;
• Maximise key income streams by developing fundraising programmes including the acquisition of major sponsorships and grant funding;
• Recruit and manage permanent and casual staff and volunteers;
• Liaise with local authorities and emergency services over planning and licensing applications to ensure compliance with relevant Health and Safety and legislative guidelines;
• Design key marketing strategies and execute marketing and promotional campaign to maximise the profile and reach of events, utilising traditional and new media;
• Monitor and analyse impact and effectiveness of marketing campaigns with a view to refining strategies;
• Build websites and maintain content; design all promotional materials;
• Create and issue press and media releases; liaise with media and conduct live TV and radio interviews;
• Negotiate media partnerships to secure and maximise broad national coverage;
• Source technical equipment and material needs on a donation/loan basis to minimise expenditure;
• Negotiate contract and hire rates with suppliers;
