Jane was given the same info materials (guides, media kit etc) as my last employee was when selling our last publication. In nearly four weeks Jane only made one sale, whereas our last publication made 5 sales in the same time frame. Unfortunately I can only judge Jane on results as this is what the project required as stated. I gave her more than enough time to prove herself. Realistically I expected at least four ads sold by the start of May even if they were the lower priced ads. If Jane was unsure of anything she should have communicated doubts before she commenced work. The positives were that Jane did work the hours that were agreed and she didn't shy away from the work. She also has a good telephone manner. I recommend Jane if you are looking for someone to arrange appointments or database cleanse but unfortunately I would not recommend her for selling over the telephone.
