About Me
I can offer you proven all-round design expertise. I'm a qualified Architect and Web Designer with over five years post-qualification experience and specialise in planning applications, producing cad information, website creation, SQL, Coldfusion and php programming, CSS layouts and creating 3d design models (including Sketchup and 3D Studio).
I produced cad drawings & 3d models for a house that featured on Grand Designs and regularly produce 3d or cad visuals for bids, feasibility reports and planning permissions. I have also recently completed an Architect's website and am working on an ecommerce solution for a sportswear retailer. I am experienced with commercial, residential and retail design and have worked with many major UK developers.
I am proficient in Sketchup, 3D Studio Max, Autocad, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Coldfusion and use all of these on a daily basis. I have a fascination with architecture and web design, with excellent knowledge of HTML, CSS, JQuery, Coldfusion, MySQL and Wordpress.

Work Experience
I have been working for one of the UK\'s top 20 Architects for 7 years, in that time I have worked on numerous planning applications, construction projects and feasibility reports. I have undertaken various small private planning applications: an extension to a physiotherapist practice and loft conversion/single storey extension to a semi detached dwelling. I am highly experienced in both hand and cad based drawing and am very comfortable using 3d programs such as 3d Studio or Sketchup.

Design of website for Architectural practice. The website includes use of webfonts, HTML5, CSS3, JQuery and JQPlugins. It uses sliders and UI effects together with features such as FancyBox and the Twitter API. Design work included Photoshop editing and production.

James took on board the brief that I gave him and delivered a first class website. With me just starting up in business and with only a limited portfolio, James made the best use of the graphical imagery that was available to him. The website was delivered on budget and within the timescales. Very efficient.
Education
I have a First Class Honours Degree in Architectual Studies from the University of Sheffield together with a Diploma and MA. I qualified as a Chartered Architect in 2005. At University I became acquainted with all major design software and have won a number of prizes including the 2004 Pilkington/Architecture Today Award.
