I work for Rising Brook Media Ltd and we have provide media solutions for a range of clients in the corporate, and public sector worlds. One thing we at RBM have is a range of free lancers who can cover audio recording, musical composition, event recording and film, video and graphics work.

I am an experienced camera and set lighting operator who owns all my own kit through RBM. I also am a talented editor and video colourist who constantly strives for perfection. I own my own edit suit and a range of industry standard programs.

At the moment I am one of two Directors setting up a film company entitled, “Rising Brook Media.”

Although this is a new enterprise, work so far has involved, Winning the green award in the local area for a film made with the UK Arts Council Sajja Arts collective called “Re;” Films displayed at Glastonbury Festival and nationally, a number of private films made for clients around the country and even internationally (India, the Philippines and more) and over 30 short films and many more promos and documentaries.


PERSONAL ACHIEVEMENTS:

Winner of the OFVM (Oxford Film and Video Makers) “Showcase Shoot Out,”
July 2005 with my short film Lord Arthur Savile’s Crime.

Runner up in Media magazine’s (National) Short Film Awards (2005-6) and one of 20 short films published to DVD by the company.

Published Article written for Media magazine (September 2006 issue).

Winner of the Green Award’ for the film “Re;” Directed by Laura Scott (2008)

UK Arts Council exhibited the film Re;’ in their tent at Glastonbury Festival (2009)

Film displayed at Stoke City FC (Britannia Stadium) every home match from early March till late April (2010).

Education

First Class Honours Film Production Technology, BSc.

During this time I undertook a 20,000 word dissertation entitled “An Investigation in to Post-
Production” where I studied the latest editing technology as well as scientific and artistic
theory behind film editing. This was awarded first class honours.
