About Me

I shoot and edit, and am used to fast turn arounds.

In my previous job I produced, shot and edited over 500 daily news packages for the Press Association.

I\'m also well travelled with work and in Summer 2007 lived in Valencia operating as a DV Director - overseeing the production of 40 packages for online viewing.

I\'m based near Southampton on the South Coast of England and have all the necessary kit to freelance as CameraEdit.

Work Experience

Today I work freelance on the South Coast of England covering Events, workshops, club activites, festivals, music and more.

Previously I worked in News filming anything from Festivals and Red Carpet right through to Bi-Election Campaign Trails & Footballs Press Conferences. Employers included Press Association, BBC Look North and GTV in Lincolnshire.

I also have experience filming Sport, in particular Sailing and Watersports with Sail TV. My role with them was Content Producer for their online iptv channel www.sail.tv. During my two years spent with this company I travelled to 9 countries working either as Dv Director & Editor or Camera Op.

I trained through Skillset, obtaining an NVQ level 4 in Broadcast Journalism. I was part of team, who produce a half hour weekly news programme, broadcast to North and North East Lincolnshire. My role entailed, researching news stories, finding contributors, arranging the shoot, interviewing, and scripting/performing the voice over. I also worked as a VJ using a PD150, and edited using Final Cut Pro. My BBC Placement was with Look North in Hull for the month of October 2004.
