Jenna Hall
Georgina has worked as a freelance consultant with ContinYou for five years and is a well-respected member of the team. She has undertaken a wide variety of work, including writing and editing a range of resources and guidance documents. She has contributed to a large number of short/targeted documents such as case studies and strategic policy reports as well as making other valuable contributions to our website and working as a critical friend for other members of the team. In addition, she has written articles for the education journals, Children and Young People Now and Schools ETC. In recent years Georgina (Gina) has researched and been a lead writer of some of our web-based study support and extended services guides, notably those on Museums, Libraries and Sustainability. She has a feel for language, and is always aware of her reader, whether they be Directors of Children’s Services, teachers, or children and young people. Her ability to ensure the text and style meets the needs of each audience, however specific or diverse, is certainly one of her key strengths. As well as writing Gina has also been asked to proof-read and edit a number of our publications, very often at short notice. She has always undertaken this willingly and promptly. Her work is well researched, accurate, and thorough, and her writing ability if of a very high quality. Our publications team recently commented that their final edit of work she has submitted is one of the most pleasant jobs’ they have had to do! NB The rate detailed above was for one of the above mentioned pieces of work.
