I am a freelance writer with a specific talent in technical writing. My qualifications are BSc Chemistry, MSc in Microelectronics, Diploma in Management and Operations Research. Although I have been involved mainly in the physical sciences, I have a keen interest in other branches of science and technology including biological, medical and IT. I also have experience in marketing and commerce.

As a technical writer I have published approximately fifty printed scientific papers, books, patents and articles. Also I have authored and co-authored several major technical proposals of up to fifty pages in length which have been presented to scientific funding authorities in the UK, the European Union, and America including NASA. Several of these have been successful and have generated many millions of pounds of research funding for clients.

Currently most of my writing involves producing web content for a number of clients for publishing on their websites and for SEO and article marketing purposes. Apart from technical articles, typical of the subjects on which I write regularly are sports and gaming, modern gadgets, software, medical issues, and internet marketing.

I am very versatile and I believe that I am able to absorb information rapidly, understand technical and commercial areas that previously were new to me, and to re-express the information gained in ways suitable for readerships and audiences with disparate backgrounds, levels of understanding and competence.

I very much enjoy writing, and it occupies much of my time, though I can also offer other services including project management, research coordination, conference organisation and related activities.
