I have extensive experience as a contract and site manager on heavy civil engineering projects. I am well placed to offer advice to people and companies regarding any aspect of construction. This can range from cover for absent members of staff to running projects.

Over the course of my career I have managed many small to medium sized contractors who have employed specialist consultants to produce their health, safety and environmental systems and documents. The common approach is to provide generic documentation, which covers a multitude of situations. I have found a large proportion of these documents show little understanding of either their purpose or the construction processes involved in the specific task or contract. This leads to numerous resubmissions that waste the time of all parties concerned, time that could be better spent on other tasks.

My approach is different. I know the standards that clients demand because I have been that client. I provide consultancy services that are tailored to the company’s specific requirements and any documentation produced is clearly written, concise and relevant.
