Having over 20 years of accounting and IT experience, in 2007 Elaine gave up her blue chip past to launch CheapAccounting.co.uk

In 2009 Elaine capitalised on the rapid growth of the brand and developed the franchise arm of the business.

She is described as a 'thought leader within the industry and a trusted adviser' and is widely recognised as a trail blazer in the use of social media within Accountancy.

Winner of the Woman in Finance Award, Network of Aspiring Women

Elaine Clark, Managing Director of CheapAccounting.co.uk has won the Woman in Finance category of the Network of Aspiring Women Awards. Selected from over 200 nominations, it is a huge achievement beating off stiff competition from some of the UK's leading women.

The Annual Awards hosted by the Network of Aspiring Women have been organised to celebrate the successes of women nationally. The event itself is all about helping women connect to do business together and inspire them to go higher in their chosen profession.

From the judging panel, Leading Business Woman Gill Fielding of Secret Millionaire fame said:

Progressive Practice

In June 2010 AccountingWEB teamed up with CCH (two very well respected names in the Accounting industry) in search of the UK's most innovative practice. After a long-fought contest CheapAccounting.co.uk was awarded the title of Progressive Practice.

This was a national award open to all UK accounting practices. The top 5 were selected by AccountingWEB and CCH. The winner was voted for by the public - like an X Factor for accountants!
