*** As a freelancer ***
I have been translating millions of words from English to Chinese, for direct clients and agencies, in and beyond China;
I have been translating much less often from Chinese to English, for clients who do not understand English and seek accurately translated content over perfect syntax;
I have been transcribing audio and video files from Cantonese and Mandarin and translating the texts into English.

*** Prior to freelancing ***
I had extensive exposure to English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, speaking and writing them during 4 years managing the Product Development Department of a China-based gifts & crafts factory, working closely with HK, TW, and UK expatriates as well as the US-based boss (an amazing artistic talent and business woman) and colleagues by means of emails, conference calls, in-person meetings, factory visits, etc. The capabilities of accurate interpretation and translation between English and Chinese in that bilingual work environment were not optional.
