I am a chartered member of the British Psychological Society, with over ten years of experience in statistical analysis and report-writing. I obtained my degree in Experimental Psychology (including a statistics module) from the University of Oxford, and subsequently a master's degree in research methods and statistics, and a PhD in Experimental Psychology (with a strong focus of advanced statistics) from the University of Bristol.

I have a strong background in data analysis using SPSS (and its equivalents) and Excel, and in providing statistical support to non-specialists. I am experienced and comfortable with analysing large datasets and have many years of experience in the use of quantitative data analysis, especially psychometrics. Areas of particular expertise include regression analysis, analysis of variance, and factor analysis. I'm also able to do Rasch analysis and other specialist statistics. Anything I don't already know, I have the resources to quickly learn, along with access to specialist advice from colleagues in various statistics-using fields.

I have considerable experience of questionnaire design, validation, and reliability testing, including online delivery of questionnaires, and specialist experience of medical, clinical and mental health psychometric scales. I am able to offer a complete psychometrics package for business, academic or clinical use, including design, construction, data collection, testing and validation of aptitude and personality scales. I'm familiar with the use of various clinical assessment scales (e.g. anxiety, depression, schizotypy) as well as personality assessment and typology.
