I am an experienced accountant who has worked in the UK as well as in most of Europe, and who also has very substantial experience of working in Russia and Kazakhstan.

My skills cover UK GAAP, US GAAP & IAS. Having commenced work in an audit capacity with a firm of Chartered Accountants I eventually was appointed as FD of a PLC. Additionally I have considerable time as a cost and management accountant, and have also undertaken many due diligence exercises. These periods abroad have given me a solid understanding of International Taxation.

All the above allows me to offer myself from within the range of a bookkeeper to that of a senior accountant in both the cost and the management fields. No matter how menial the task appears or indeed how challenging I will always apply my skills in the same way.

Additionally I am competent in translation between Latin and English. and native in Russian having lived there for many years and having a Russian wife.

Writing skills.

For many years I have written financial articles for business papers, professional economic and finance magazines, and numerous articles for websites. Recently I have expanded this area to writing articles for a major FOREX site, varying from 300-3500 words, and am currently undertaking a 5,000 word article on financial lending. This element of my work I thoroughly enjoy and I am seeking to expand this. I have solid knowledge of SEO and keyword applications, as well as the principals imposed by Google and other search engines.
