â�’¢ Working for a small but extremely busy Events company based in London.

â�’¢ As a small and fairly new company, sophisticated computer systems had not yet been
implemented, therefore my role was to take this place.

â�’¢ Strong attention to detail was a key element within this role as any mistake could result in the company
working at a loss.

â�’¢ I was required to take customer orders by telephone for various events.

â�’¢ Ensure that all details were correctly entered into system, and process payments.

â�’¢ Print out new bookings and file them in event order.

â�’¢ Keep manager continually updated of new order numbers and any cancellations.

â�’¢ Dispatch hospitality packages to customers.

â�’¢ Liaise with Royal Mail, should any packages not arrive on time.

â�’¢ Be in constant contact with event box offices, for any changes to performances.
