TRANSLATION EXPERIENCE
Besides making several translations as a freelancer (technical, scientific, commercial, financial, medical, cultural, brochures and manuals, general knowledge, certificates and diplomas, etc.), I have worked for the following companies:
2001-2003 EMBASSY OF THE REPUBLIC OF KOREA
English translator and Bilingual secretary, working within the Korea International Co-operation Agency (KOICA). Also, Spanish teacher of Korean volunteers coming to work in the poorest areas of Peru.
2000-2003 UNIVERSITIES (AGRARIA LA MOLINA / SAN JUAN BAUTISTA)
Part-time English teacher at both Universities’ Language Centres.
1999-2002 EBEL INTERNATIONAL
English translator of labels for cosmetics, catalogues, publications for beauty consultants, market research, brochures, instruction manuals and guidelines (for the Australian branch of EBEL in New South Wales, Sydney). Interpreter at meetings held with Australian representatives.
1998-2001 PROMPERÚ (Peru’s Promotion Commission)
English and French translator of tourism texts, surveys and magazines. Editor of the monthly tourist newsletter “Kilca” in its English version. English proofreader of several publications.
1998-1999 INICTEL (National Institute of Telecommunications Research and Training)
Translator of English videotapes about telecommunications and fibre optics (for subtitling).
1998 CONCYTEC (National Council of Science and Technology)

Simultaneous interpretation at the ACN’s International Training Event held in Amsterdam for the European market. It was a 3-day event organised by ACN (American Communications Network), an international telecommunications company, offering services such as Internet, telephony and energy.
