About Me

I am a full-time, self-employed bookkeeper, with clients throughout the UK. I have an expanding client database for whom I undertake bookkeeping services including cash flow, profit & loss and annual accounts spreadsheets, single & double entry bookkeeping and VAT returns. I also provide a complete payroll service (HMRC compliant) to a number of clients, and deal with all aspects of CIS returns, together with any other admin support that may be required. I am affiliated to a Personal Taxation Specialist should you need advice of this nature.

Some examples of other services I can provide are Database and Spreadsheet design and maintenance, Mail Merge & Mailshots, Audio & Copy Typing, Report Writing and Word Processing.

My employment background is in Banking, The NHS and Social Services, as well as the private sector, so I fully understand the importance of client confidentiality. My main roles prior to becoming self-employed were providing admin support to managers, producing the payroll for a local company and dealing with all aspects of staff holidays and sickness, together with invoicing and general HR work.

I can provide you with support for a one-off project, on a long-term basis, as an interim “stop-gap” solution; whatever you requirements may be, and pride myself on delivering a high quality, confidential service to your specified deadlines.

Areas covered: My clients are mainly in the North West of England, but I also have clients in Cumbria and Kent and can provide virtual support to any area.

Work Experience

I have over 30 years administrative experience, having worked in many sectors including banking, the NHS and social services, and fully understand the need for client confidentiality.

I have worked on a freelance basis since 2001, and my client base includes independent financial advisers and accountants. I have a great deal of experience typing letters and reports for their clients, creating and maintaining their client databases, creating spreadsheets for income/expenditure accounts and cash flow records, generating invoices and any other administrative work that may be required.
