I'm an experienced freelance journalist, writer, copy editor, proofreader, sub-editor and content-filler living and working in London.
I specialise in cult and classic literature, film, rock music, subcultures and the offbeat.
I write for both websites and magazines and have been published in Snipe magazine, Polari magazine and Queens of [Link Removed].
I regularly write extensive literature reviews and essays for [Link Removed] and I've also edited and written for many fanzines over the years.
I've written dust-jacket blurb for fiction and non-fiction books, covered news stories for [Link Removed] and produced corporate copy for [Link Removed] and [Link Removed].
I'm also a highly experienced and meticulous copy editor and proofreader, having worked on over a hundred manuscripts for both private clients and publishers.
I play drums in a post-punk band and own pedigree cats. I am also a film buff of the the most obsessive kind, a passionate reader and lover of all things rock 'n' roll.

Work Experience
I have worked as a copy editor, freelance writer and proofreader for eight years and am currently freelancing as a journalist and content editor.
My journalistic roles have included writing articles on pop culture for Queens of Vintage.com, Snipe magazine and Polari magazine. I also write news stories and headlines and source appropriate pictures for PinkNews.co.uk. I compose and edit content for bookdrum.com, a literature website, and have worked recently on the website for Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity.
