About Me
Christine Dixon is a freelance writer, columnist, editor, book layout designer with a journalism degree and she has also studied book publishing at Ryerson University.
She works from home in Wiarton, Ontario. In addition to writing her column for Cottage Magazine, editing and book design, she works as a PR writer, blog writer, and enjoys tackling any job that is interesting, challenging, and involves using her many skills.

Work Experience
I've always worked with publishing in some way. I currently write a food column for Cottage Magazine after several years of being a regular freelance contributor.
I've spent the last 10 years working as a freelance writer, publisher, editor, prrofreader and book designer.
I also do academic writing, namely the writing of tests for continuing education courses on various topics ranging from medical to self-help and business.
Education
I obtained a journalism degree by distance in the mid-90's, and have studied Book Publishing at Ryerson University, including sales and marketing, trade publishing, educational publishing, childrens publishing and book design.
