About Me
Christina is a SENIOR STRATEGIC ADVISOR to entrepreneurs and executives of emerging growth companies. She serves as Managing Director Consultant to ValuQuest INTERNATIONAL, a strategic advisory boutique providing investment banking, operations consulting and M&A expertise to growth and start-up clients. Her role at ValuQuest is the result of integrating efforts in 2010 between Alquemie Partners, a consulting practice she founded in 2009 and ValuQuest INTERNATIONAL, a M&A boutique to create a platform that would properly address the needs of growth clients. She currently assists several start up technology companies that are members of the Plug and Play Tech Center community based in Sunnyvale, California. Christina works with many founders, entreprenuers and senior managers to help develop their successful business and provides services as needed. Services include: Business Development -- introduction to strategic customers and partners, Corporate Development -- coordinate introduction to Silicon Valley Venture Capital and Angel community, Strategic Advisory - positioning, editing and authoring executive summaries, business plan review, create and refine financial models, company presentations and identification of ideal marketing channels.

Work Experience
Prior to Alquemie Partners, Christina spent more than a decade working with various San Francisco based boutique investment banks focused on emerging growth companies. She accumulated three years in equity research and 15 years of investment banking experience as a branded consumer, life sciences and technology banker. She has worked on more than 50 transactions that include Initial Public Offerings (IPOs), Follow-on offerings, Private Investments in Public Equity (PIPE), Private Placements and Merger & Acquisition (M&A) advisory services. Before founding Alquemie, she served as a SVP in the west coast based Technology, Media & Telecom investment banking group of FBR Capital Markets. She joined FBR in this capacity upon the acquisition of East Peak Advisors, an M&A advisory firm where she was Principal and Head of Interactive Media and Internet Services for three years. Prior to East Peak, Christina led the specialty consumer and online marketing & commerce banking effort at Pacific Growth Equities (now Wedbush Securities). She began her career as a research associate in 1993 at Hambrecht & Quist, helping maintain coverage of 25 publicly traded branded consumer companies including Ben & Jerry’s, Gymboree, Odwalla, Robert Mondavi Winery and Starbucks.
In addition to her senior advisory role, Christina is involved in various community activities and non-profit organizations focused on entrepreneurship. She serves on the advisory board of USF's entrepreneurial program and is President of the Science & Technology Advisory Council - Silicon Valley Chapter. She is a community member of ASTIA, an invited contributor to TheFunded.com, and an advisor to the Filipino Entrepreneurs Network. Other activities include moderating the first DealMaker Forum “Speed Dating” event and serving as a panelist on the subject of investment banking and M&A. She previously served as a Marin County Regional Board Member for Women’s Initiative for Self Employment, a non-profit focused on assisting low income women become self sufficient through entrepreneurship; and was an active member of Forum for Women Entrepreneurs & Executives.
Christina contributed and appeared in the June 22, 2009 Investor's Business Daily Column "Leaders and Success Column" with her opinion on Making the Merger Work. In April 2010, Ms. Laskowski received the Golden Heart Award, Rank of Grand Officer from the Philippine President for her voluntary efforts to assist in the economic development of the country. Christina received a B.S. Finance from the McLaren School of Business at the University of San Francisco. She holds Series 63 and 7 securities licenses.
