Work Experience

Jointly they have in excess of 30 years support experience gained at senior level, covering areas such as secretarial, accounts, business development, event management, marketing and PR, investor relations and company secretarial, both in the public and private sectors.

Sue holds a BTEC National Certificate in Business and Finance, NVQ4 Certificate in Business Management, plus RSA and Northern Counties Certificates in shorthand, typing and secretarial subjects. Throughout her career she has gained further experience in HR, Employment Law and Business. Her industry experience spans the fields of weighing, engineering, hospitality, property development and software development. Sue spent 12 years as a Special Constable moving on to Area Manager with Northumbria Police (so knows just how to keep Chris in her place) and has more recently turned her talent for Interior Design into a successful business which she fits in around her SOS commitments.

Chris holds a BTEC Higher National Diploma in Business and Finance from University of the West of England, plus RSA qualifications in typing and word processing. Chris has a solid professional services background working for the Heads of Corporate Finance Strategy and Media at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in London, before relocating to the North East where she spent two years working for the Audit Partners of Ernst & Young LLP. Since then she has gained further experience in the fields of property and software development including group level within a regional FTSE100.
