About Me
I am a multimedia journalism degree graduate seeking part-time, paid freelance work, on a permanent or temporary basis.
Since graduating in 2009 I have worked as a reporter, commercial features writer and entertainment correspondent at a weekly regional newspaper and now work in PR.
I can offer writing and editing news, features, press releases and newsletters etc as well as copywriting, proof reading and transcribing. I have excellent consumer-facing writing skills and can create engaging blogs on almost any topic.
Creating and managing social media campaigns are also my specialist areas.
I can work quickly and efficiently and keep to deadlines. Three years experience.
Ideally, I would prefer to work from home in the evenings to accomodate my employment but am willing to travel locally for jobs.

PR Account Executive
I am responsible maximising PR coverage for my clients in target media, through traditional and pro-active channels. As well as managing social media profiles and campaigns for global clients, I support the directors and account managers on organising press events, competitions and exhibitions. My key strengths include writing consumer-facing editorial, such as blogs, creating imaginative PR plans and managing several tasks at once while meeting client expectations. I am also able to easily adapt my style to suit a range of markets and audiences.
