I am a native French speaker, fluent in English and Arabic.

I am a proficient writer and copyeditor, and have published a guide to English slang for French speakers: "Street Cred : l'anglais qu'on ne vous apprend pas" (available on Amazon).

I have a strong and varied background as a French and English translator and have worked on a variety of media, including newspapers, websites, films and books. I have translated company booklets, technical manuals, financial news feeds, legal documents, movie subtitles as well as poetry.

Until March 2011, I was the Editor of a leading legal and business publication in London and have therefore an in-depth knowledge of these sectors.
My role included overseeing the translation process, developing best practice for editorial, copy-editing (paying close attention to accuracy and maintaining concise, punchy text), as well as responsibility for both the online and print versions of the guide.
