I am a creative, versatile and imaginative graphic designer with over 16 years experience of
eye-catching Product and Packaging design in FMCG (fast moving consumer goods) sectors such as Health & Beauty, Cosmetics, Luxury and Children's Toiletries, Food and Drink and ConfectioneryChocolate packaging.
Through this experience, I have gained the ability to develop an on-going friendly, conscientious, hardworking relationship with clients and to inspire them with ideas. I like to use my initiative and enthusiasm to achieve positive results. One of my strengths is accurately interpreting and delivering the finished brief on time.
My portfolio is full and varied and includes brand development, product and packaging design, merchandising, visualisation, mock-ups, artwork, POP, POS and typographic illustration.
I have worked with many well-known brands - BBC, Disney, Mattel and Aardman to name but a few and so have a good understanding of what it takes to see a project from concept stage through to finished print ready artwork.
I can design beautiful detailed concept visuals for clients and also I can create finished artwork and mock-ups for manufacturers and printers.
I have excellent written and verbal English language skills and attention to detail. Well organised and adaptable, I can manage several simultaneous projects.
I currently work freelance for several design agencies specialising in product, packaging and POS design for high profile multi-national brands.

Position held: Graphic Designer and Artworker
Responsibilities:
- To be an imaginative, lateral thinker and demonstrate creativity.
- Have an awareness of popular culture and style trends.
- Create concept visuals, mood boards and prototypes for presentations and for licensor approval.
- To design innovative products and eye-catching packaging within the constraints of licensor style guides, production time scales and development costings.
- To design in-store POS/FSDU's and have a flair for visual merchandising display techniques.
- To understand the print process and to have knowledge of manufacturing techniques and finishes.
- To create accurate artwork for all products and packaging.
- Distribute finished artwork to Far East suppliers within tight deadlines for production schedules.

- Commended by Creative Director for project delivery turnaround and general work efficiency.
- My concept designs personally chosen by Gok Wan and Channel 4 as the preferred style for the creation of the 'How to Look Good Naked' 2009 Toiletry Range.
- Responsible for client liaison with Mattel, Inc during the design process of Barbie 2008-9 Toiletry Ranges.
- Appointed lead designer for the Playboy 2009 Toiletry Range - from concept through to finished artwork.
- Responsible for design and artwork of all brands of licensed character hair accessories from 1998 - 2005.

- Successfully made the transition from University to working life in a busy professional design department, gained further knowledge of the print/production process and engaged with new colleagues.
- Worked alongside the senior designer and marketing manager to create internal and external corporate literature, packaging design, catalogue sheets, promotional material and sales incentive brochures.
