I work with a number of different courses and departments and delivering AV production and editing skills workshops (Final Cut Pro 7 and associated software) as well as fulfilling any in house need for video or sound production. This requires me to produce learning materials as work with course leaders to build the workshops into relevant student briefs. I am also responsible for the administration and upkeep of the schools photographic and AV equipment pool and production facilities.

I teach introductory IT classes for distance learners at offsite locations including sheltered housing as part of the CLL department. Duties included the delivery of curriculum materials focussing on Microsoft Windows and Office and the upkeep of course records.

My place in the department is that of a casual tutor, my duties include participating in class critiques and giving tutorials across the second, third and forth year classes, I am have also held seminars on varied contextual theory and practical technique topics and acted as a mediator within the student body.

My duties were to support the exhibition team which included the preparation and hanging of the artworks and the setting up of audio video equipment. I was also required to photographically document the exhibition.

My duties included the setting up and operation of audio, video and I.T. presentation equipment, assisting the organisers and supporting the contributors of the festival with there individual presentation needs, the editing and preparation of festival video promotional material.

Self Shotting Video producer at No Hot Ashes - Blues Band

I was hired to film a live performance of the band No Hot Ashes at Langside Halls in Glasgow. The performance was filmed by myself with two cameras and edited into eight individual music videos of different songs.

The videos included motion graphics and the audio was synced and mastered to a high quality recording of the performance that was recorded live separately and provided as a separate audio files by the band.

The videos are intended for web playback on the bands website so the videos were delivered in a suitable high definition format for this purpose. The videos were also provided on a DVD for playback on a DVD player.

I am a member of No Hot Ashes and Callum has done still and video work for us. We were impressed by his previous work and he is a very talented guy with an excellent eye. We are very pleased indeed with the videos. He picked up very quickly what the band is about and produced a very professional and representative product.
