I have over 27 years experience in bringing graphics and printing projects to successful conclusion.
I work on the Mac platform (though happily interface with Windows systems) primarily in Adobe Creative Suite. Photography (Canon digital equipment and lenses) is offered primarily as a supplement to artworking and layout requirements, though I will happily undertake Event Photography as well.
I prefer large and complex contracts, am happier laying out a catalogue than a letterhead, though this should not deter clients from enquiring about smaller jobs.
I prefer not to work in pure design - my emphasis is on artworking, layout and image manipulation.
Subcontracting to designers, agencies and publishers forms the core of my business - in most cases I can offer a valuable service to other graphics professionals by taking on some of the time-consuming tasks (e.g. Photoshop image preparation) that allow designers to concentrate on their specialities.
Deadlines are treated with the utmost respect - but don't overuse the word "urgent" unless it really is urgent!
Mentorship, consulting and training is available to individuals and corporations who seek to produce their own graphics and print, but who may need assistance with specific tasks - always happy to talk this through with you.
