About Me
A specialist in design, materials, construction, services and machinery installations and ideally placed to fulfil the link between concept and construction with a knowledge and understanding of statutory regulations such as Building Regulations and Housing Association standards.
Because I am able to work flexibly and prioritise my commitments I am well placed to meet clients' programmes and deadlines. I also only charge for actual time spent being productive and don't include 'thinking' or travelling time.
Originally trained in yacht design and construction, for nearly 20 years my work has involved both marine and architectural projects. I have a great deal of experience liaising between designers, the client, principal and subcontractors and regulatory organisations. I am able to understand and empathise with both the client’s and designer’s aspirations and ensure that these are met within the constraints of construction practicalities and statutory requirements.
Areas covered: SE England. Anywhere for 'remote' and regularly travel to the north coast of Scotland
