Originally picked up web design and development whilst still at school, initially leading to the development of a web-based voting system for the head student team elections. This moved on to working on the school website, and was later employed as an ICT technician while studying for my A-Levels, where I aided the design and support of the internal systems there. I'm told some of my work is still in use to this day!

From there I progressed to complete a degree in Computer Science at the University of Kent. I started working as a full time C#/ASP.NET developer at Select Software during a sandwich year placement, and was taken on as a graduate upon completion of my degree. I got heavily involved in the development and maintenance of the Windows-based network, eventually reducing the number of servers by half by moving to virtualized platforms.

I know work in the R&D department for a pharmaceutical company, adding some expertise from a software point of view to a team already highly trained in electronics.
