Having had access to a computer since I was three years old (my father brought one home and came back into the room to discover I'd started it and opened programs) I am an extremely fast typer and if necessary can learn new programs fast also. I studied computing at school to advanced higher level and am familiar with the full microsoft office package including powerpoint.
I have been a keen reader since a young age which has resulted in great proof reading skills as I pick up on grammar and spelling errors quickly.
To date I hold a law degree from Glasgow University and will be studying my Diploma in Legal Practice beginning in September as such I am familiar with legal terminology and so would not have problems with unfamiliar words if typing up dictation in this field. I have never handed a piece of work in late at University and pride myself on my time keeping and management skills.

Another great job by Alison who has continously shown great dedication and reliability to the jobs entrusted to her. If you are lucky enough to have Alison bid for one of your jobs and you want someone who actually gets the job finished on schedule, I can only recommend her.

Again great work by Alison. I am very glad to have Alison to help complete this large transcription project where many less dedicated and professional freelancers dropped out or produced poor quality. Alison's work was once again spot on, her good understanding of the legal content helped make sense of the legal context that was transcribed.
To date I have held a number of customer service positions, as a waitress, in a shoe shop, in a newsagent and for a number of years in a supermarket. In the supermarket I was promoted quickly to being a supervisor where I was responsible for dealing with any queries or problems as well as ensuring that all staff got their breaks with sufficient tills remaining open. I was then promoted to running the cash office dealing with banking and ensuring that tills were balancing and not losing money.
