About Me

I am an experienced copywriter following a long IT career and I have so far completed many article, sales content and web content projects. Additionally, I write whitepapers promoting services for an IT company.

I have had very good feedback on the quality of my work posted on [Link Removed] but I am relatively new to peopleperhour but I am now hoping to win work via this site.

I also write for a UK Academic writing service on Information Technology and Computer Science, so I have experience of academic research and I am conversant with all the major referencing styles.

I have worked predominantly in IT with roles in many different areas. I therefore have an understanding of a diverse range of IT disciplines. I have many years experience working on various Projects and Programmes, both in a support role and as the Project Manager.

In terms of writing skills gained during my career in IT, I have several years experience working in IT Quality Assurance, ensuring the quality of procedures, processes and technical documentation.

I also manage the Accounts, including the tax returns, for a Partnership.

I have good experience with Microsoft Office and can use Excel to an advanced level.

I am happy to provide samples of my previous work.

Work Experience

Experienced with using Microsoft Project and the management of Risks, Issues and Project Files using Microsoft Excel and Word. Prepared and presented many Powerpoint presentations in the past.

Experience of using SQL as an Oracle DBA to support project implementation and subsequent ongoing support.

Used both AccessDB and Excel to manipulate data in the past, including during data migration. Produced data queries using SQL and Excel/ Access for MI and to assist a data migration, also to set up systems and data extracts for Finance staff.
