I carried out all recruitment activities including short listing candidates for various positions after understanding the hiring needs of various departments, scheduling interviews, assisting at questioning in interviews, updating records, managing the online recruitment system and setting up an assessment center with a team for the mass hiring of more than 200 candidates. As Telenor Norway is listed on NASDAQ, this internship gave me an opportunity to closely examine how policies in accordance to the International Labor Organization and U.S. regulations, were applied to establish an ethical code of conduct in day to day business.
