After having around 15 years in the design and database management industry I have picked up a good amount of skills which, I feel, I am very proficient at and at the same time have a love for.

For much of my working life I have worked for a well known and well established catalogue design company. The job role was extremely varied which gave me the opportunity to gain more skills and experience in other areas which has made me a very versatile, creative and flexible worker.

In 2010 I started Redwood Designs which has rapidly grown and now maintain quite an ample client database which I have rapidly grown over the last year. Most of my design work lays in advertising. Namely logo design, web design, brochure and cataglogue work, poster and banner work, websites, flyers and corporate rebranding. I've built a good reputation in this field and would only be too happy to provide samples or references from clients if requested.

I recently relocated and moved away from the city to the countryside and hold a great passion for my work and an appetite to push it forward even more and utilize my skills. I have zero distraction and absolutely no commitments and can fully dedicate all my time and attention to all jobs, ensuring that all deadlines are met.

I have a very good eye for detail and am extremely conscientious and like to ensure that all work I carry out is done to perfection but at the same time balancing timescales.

My job roles were very varied due to the nature of the business and over the 15 years I spent there developed a good array of skills and also a degree that I accomplished outside of work hours in design and print technology.

My job role entailed the designing of catalogues and leaflets. Creating and maintaining very large databases supplied from the customers. Photo editing and manipulation. Cutting out images. Running jobs to very tight deadlines. Proof reading copy for copy and also stand-alone copy (checking for grammar and spelling). Running small teams of people to ensure jobs are carried out to job specification and deadline. Customer liason.

I gained nearly all my skills are experience from this position. It was a job I dearly loved doing with the skills I have a passion to do and it was with much regret I had to leave when I relocated.
