Details of the accepted bid

Amount: £ 90.00 Fixed Fee

Proposal:
Hi Steve,

I'm sure this project will be of great interest to many lady researchers - it certainly appeals to this one.

From my degree in Social Policy and Social and Economic History, to researching and writing business plans for a restaurant entrepreneur and most recently, being tasked with researching and writing documents for a global investment management company for their training and information requirements, these topics come as light relief.

I have a varied research experience background, and feel competent that I could complete this project as required, adding an analytical approach to the findings. Additionally, I have a (healthy) interest in food, nutrition and dietics, regularly consuming any information available.

My educational background is vaguely scientific (physics and chemistry 'A' level, biology GSCE) plus, my brother is a GP who I am sure can help with any troublesome over-weight theories that may be encountered.

As the topics are well-structured, I propose that this project would take 3-5 days to complete, for a fee of £90.

I hope I have conveyed my interest and competency in this bid, and would like to wish you every success with your book.

Kind regards.

Dear Steve,

This is a very interesting project and one which I am eminently qualified to complete - I have 12 years experience working for the Guinness World Records book as a writer, researcher and editor, and as the author of The Guinness Book of Football, I fully understand the need for original research material written with an element of humour and in a fast-paced, easy to read tempo.

Additionally, my wife is about to start working for a world-renowned weight-loss organisation.

My question, however, is this - you are asking for seven, well researched articles which will, in my experience, take two or three drafts of each to meet your approval and get to the sign-off stage, for less than £100. Taking away the PPH fee of £15, that\'s a maximum of £85.

Based on the fact that this job will take around a week to 10 days to complete properly, it works out at roughly 95p per hour (or even less). Is there a chance you could increase your budget?

As I said, I\'d like to do this for you and would provide you with top-drawer copy, but at under £1 per hour....

Thanks for your time, and I\'ll look forward to hearing from you.

Simon
