Project Status :

Project Description
Hi, we just moved in to a house with a jungle for a garden. We have done a lot of clearing of the nettles and ivy etc, but the trees are so overgrown that we don't have any sunlight coming in (if there ever is any) to grow flowers or grass next year. We just want to get everything cut back and if possible taken away. I don't know if you have to be a special tree surgeon or just someone with a saw and a ladder and a van but we would appreciate any kind of quotes!

Hello!
Please let me make you aware that you MUST get a proper professional to look at this work!!! You could end up with a total mess otherwise. Also you must contact your local council, ie Camden to check if you are in a conservation area. If you are and you don't get permission to have the work done it can get very expensive for you!!! For reputable firms contact your councils tree section/ planning section. Please don't just let anyone come in and do a butchers job!!

have been a tree officer for many years for local government in my other hat I was both a graphic design and tree officer due to cut backs I had to do two jobs. I would advice to phone your local council and ask them for a list of tree surgeons in your area, they would not be able to recommend any one however when I used to give a list the top name was the best. if the trees are very large it is best to have a tree surgeon undertake this so not to cause any damage to buildings etc also you should check out as to weather there is any TPOs on any of the trees. good luck, hope all goes well
