I have developed a database for an Arable farm, which involves applications rates of agrochemicals, fertilisers etc and prices them according to the purchase price, amount applied per Hectare and the cost of the contracters to perform each task. It currenly works on Excel but has become a lot more involved than I had first anticipated with field diaries, active stock sheets and a costings analysis per field, per crop and per variety. I have alot of other people interested in the project but it needs to be more user friendly, i.e. written as a proper program like for e.g. Farmplan, Muddy Boots etc. Our agronomist believes it delivers far more that the aforementioned programs and I need it written! Excel doesn't appear to be able to do what I want it to do now, a lot of the links have to be placed in manually which is fine for me but not so good for other users. If this is to be circulated to fellow farmers it needs to be written properly, I cannot attach it as it is too big for the max file size.
