Description
Experience Level: Expert
Requirements :
Requirement to add legal document production feature to our websites for our clients (a Customer Portal for clients is nearing completion) this would be accessed from the menu of features once a client has logged on but is should but should also also be possible to test / use standalone (by URL directly).
Process:
Present Catalogue of Document Templates grouping them online at 2 levels namely 1) Business Category (e.g. Employment or Commercial) then within these categories the templates would be listed. The client can then easily select the required template.
The templates will highlight the areas the client should fill in and enable them to complete, review, save and print.
On saving, as well as storage in the application we would also like to place the document in our DMS (Sharepoint) client's file in case further assistance is needed and to safeguard it.
We would like the client to be able to also issue the document, if required, for signing with a service, Echosign.
Process from client point of view:
1. Choose a template
2. Complete by filling out the highlighted template fields
3. Preview (amend if necessary) View , Save - Print
4. Manage the finished document as a PDF or Word document to handle as requird but also have the feature to issue for signature with echosign if required
5. Escalate to the legal team with template message for additional support (email address and potentially chat); they can opt to fill out as much as possible based on the template themselves but they feel advice is needed or more text needs adding then they need to be able to request help from our team.
Technical Background
Existing ongoing partners have Wordpress web development and have developed authentication process.
Documents are stored in Sharepoint DMS
Client database in Azure SQL
