Coleman and Edwards Makers of Fine Furniture are a Leeds based bespoke furniture making company founded in 2014. The founders, Jake and Gareth, are passionate about fine-furniture and keeping the skills and craft of furniture making alive.
They specialise in one-off fitted furniture (like kitchens or fitted wardrobes) and are one of the few makers in West Yorkshire to manage the customer journey from consultation, design, and manufacture through to installation. This allows them to create exactly what customers want and provide exceptional standards of service along the way.
Coleman and Edwards have a wide base of returning customers and have won work within the Leeds community too, creating pieces for The Tetley and The Real Junk Food Project. They also run evening and weekend workshops to share their skills in furniture making with members of the public.
Established in 2014 and growing every year, over the next two years Coleman and Edwards want to continue to focus their offering on larger, bespoke custom pieces - like fitted wardrobes, alcove units and kitchens. This will help the company become more scalable, profitable and more focussed on their specialism in fitted furniture.
This role will initially build on three years of previous marketing work before being able to take the company in a more focussed direction. Building on social media, adverts, blogs, newsletters and the website, the Marketing Manager will also be able to plan how to focus the company’s brand and messaging onto high value projects.
