This job is for tax advisors who specialise in group company tax planning. I'm an accountant and I have some knowledge but I want an expert advice in this area. The scenario is below;
I have a client, who has been trading through a company (Company A) for a number of years and the company has accumulated profits around 300k ( amount sits in the business bank account). The client plans to open a SPV company to invest in properties. He plans to invest the profits (300k) from his trading company (company A) in his new SPV company and he wants to structure his company to invest his profits in SPV company with minimal tax.
He would like to explore the strategy (other than entrepreneur relief) as he doesn't intend to liquidate his trading company and he doesn't want to invest through his trading company.
Company A - the client is the director and sole shareholder
SPV company - client and his wife are the director and equal shareholders. he intends to transfer a buy to let property (in both the client and his wife's name) into this company.
You must have experience in this area and should advice the client the best course of strategy by exploring all options with minimal tax liability. You must be practising in the UK and should have Professional Indemnity Insurance .
