We have a position opening up for a nice role in an accountancy practice. You do not need to be located locally although this could potentially be a benefit in the future.
Having used or using slack would be a great advantage as it would consist of using this rather than emailing (if you don't know what slack is then it might not be the role for you).
Having used or using accountancy systems in particular Xero, again would also be advantageous.
The support will consist of:
- bookkeeping work on Xero mainly but other accounting systems such as FreeAgent.
- client management, clients will message us on slack, we need to know important things and note them on our systems, we need to keep them in the loop, we need to give them progress updates etc
- data entry, this could be something like a bank analysis from statements to spreadsheets or going through invoices (electronic) to summarise into a spreadsheet
Use of other online systems such as Hubdoc would also be advantageous
The amount of hours per week would vary, and its also hard to say how many there would be as it would depend on your level of experience.
I feel this would suit a personal/virtual assistant type of person with a bookkeeping/accounts background
