Copywriter & Creative Director

Above, below, through and beyond the line. Headline, strapline, online, offline. Line it up, I'm your man. I�m a freelance... copywriter with an extremely broad range of capabilities and decades of experience working in all media across a wide spectrum of products and services. I�ve written TV, Corporate Video, Radio, Press Posters, Brochures, Websites. I�ve written for conferences � theming and producing entire shows. I've written not just customer facing communications, but also internal campaigns, to help client companies to motivate and engage their workforce. We�re talking over thirty years in the business. Which makes me? Well, mature would be a kind word � but as an advantage to you, a safe pair of experienced hands may be more appropriate. Yes, I know, that�s six words. I have a great deal of experience on business to business and financial services and enjoy working in those fields, though my current clients include a Permanent Cosmetics company, a cosmetic surgery clinic and an RFID security systems manufacturer! My recent projects include working with a major retail group on the rewriting of their websites, with particular regard to search engine optimization. I�m a strong conceptual thinker (in the agencies I started my career in, you had to be) and I love my core craft, which is idea-generation and writing. However, I do also have considerable proven ability in developing and producing concepts from not just the written point of view, but also the visual content (I originally studied Graphic Design before opting to concentrate on working as a Copywriter). I am familiar with and work in the major creative software packages. It all depends on the client�s requirement, of course � I�m happy to provide whatever a brief may demand. Advertising, direct marketing, e-marketing, a strapline, a headline, a complete campaign. I�ll work with my client's art directors and designers, or tap into my own network, whichever is preferred.
