Second, I am part time post-doctoral scientific researcher who is well versed with scientific concepts, research, academia and industry. As such, I am highly practised in the writing, editing, proofing and summary of technical information. A part time role in "traditional" science allows me to keep a watch on the field, as well as allowing me to gain genuine, insider knowledge for my writing projects. I also have freelance experience as a writer for food, science, comedy and culture. In my spare time I am a volunteer radio presenter, presenting a show weekly in a London hospital. From this I have led on to doing some freelance voice-over work, using a range of voice styles and accents, and tailoring each project to the needs of the client. I am often complimented on my own personal writing style, but I am also able to adapt to the particular needs of each individual piece in aspects such as brevity, language, formality and target audience. I am hard working and punctual with my work, and am lucky enough to thoroughly enjoy all of the jobs I secure as a result of my varied set of skills.
