I have been a self employed designer-maker ...since 1986; Printed Textile Designing, Furniture Painting, Mural Painting, Fashion Making, Home Furnishings Making. Am also an adult learning tutor.... As an EFL teacher I am keen to work remotely with clients, developing and delivering online courses, using my excellent English Language and word processing skills. Trinity Cert TESOL qualified. 3 yrs experience of 12-22 yrs, French, German and Spanish students. Currently teaching on line to adult Turkish professionals. I would welcome one-to-one tuition. My creative work is currently FASHION making and marketing leisure robes; kimono jackets, dressing gowns, evening coats, and kaftans, using good quality recycled fabrics. Following post-graduate studies, I had 6 yrs experience freelance PRINTED FURNISHINGS TEXTILE designer, selling internationally, through agents who showed designs at all the annual textile trade fairs. My experience is of large 'paint-on-paper' designed 'in repeat' to furnishing sizes. (I have yet to start digital work.) I am happy to draft and paint designs 'in-repeat' if needed. MURALS and FURNITURE PAINTING is another love. My clients are very satisfied with their outcomes; I take the time to plan the right design for the room setting and the clients' tastes. My MURALS illustrate scenes, leading from the client's preferences, carefully researching the right images to position for a balanced and attractive display; whilst my DECORATED FURNITURE PAINTING draws on my textile designing experience. All items are properly prepared, before applying decorative illustrations in acrylic, or 'shabby chic' finish; Examples on my HERITAGEMURALS website. I also have experience of teaching Arts & Crafts in Primary School, Secondary School, Further Education and Adult leisure classes; am qualified Adult Tutor Post-16, City & Guilds 730 Certificate, including Assessor's Award D32/D33.
